The popular Chinese national team can join Australia in the next round of the Asian World Cup qualifiers in this China vs Qatar live match if they can beat their guests in front of their fans which would move them clear of the Gulf team and very close to the next competition in South Africa. The Chinese have worked hard to be in this position after a fiasco in the last World Cup qualifiers when they failed to make it through and were roundly criticised for a lack of effort and professionalism as well as horrible dip in standards despite having players playing in Europe. This time there are not that many of them in demand in Europe anymore, and most of the players are confined to the national league, but they have pulled up their socks and ready to hit the World Cup trail in this live commentary World Cup 2010 qualifying match between China and Qatar.

If Chinese best known import Dong Fangzhou of Manchester United actually plays in this game, then he would provide a cutting edge for his team. It is not known yet if he actually is first choice for the manager in many people’s minds, but with his pedigree and experience, there is definitely a need for Dong to play more frequently for his country. He can provide the much needed goals that the Chinese team seem to lack and the only missing piece now in the puzzle is a creative midfielder who can break opposing teams down. Unfortunately, that appears to be nowhere near being found.

If the Chinese can quickly break down Qatar in this live online streaming TV Asian World Cup qualifying match, then we can expect a more frenetic pace to the game as the latter would want to up the tempo as they make an attempt to get back in the game. The more rigid Chinese team can then take advantage of that by hitting Qatar on the break and hope to score even more goals which might be important in deciding who will end up second in the group behind Australia. This will be where Dong will come in very important in this live streaming TV and radio World Cup 2010 soccer match between China and Qatar as he needs to be at the right place at the right time to put the ball in the net and send the fans cheering in ecstasy. Imagine having hundreds and thousands of Chinese fans backing you and it could provide the spur that they need to overcome Qatar.

There is the smell of revenge in the air for Oman vs Japan live in this World Cup 2010 match with Oman looking for a measure of football justice after they were soundly defeated by three goals in an earlier game against the same team which has placed their World Cup hopes in jeopardy. With so many fans now on their side as they entertain the Japanese team in their own stadium, there will be expectation for a quick reverse with them now handing out the trouncing to Japan instead of the other way round. Many of the Oman fans will descend upon the stadium for this live commentary Asian World Cup qualifier between them and Japan as they need a win quickly to help them have a glimmer of hope with only two more matches left in the group after this.

Their main rivals for one of the spots would be Japan, and if they are not able to overcome them this time in their own stadium, then it certainly demonstrates the difference in standard between the two sides. While Japan has stuttered at the start, they have managed to recover quickly in the last game as proven by the good result and now look brimming with confidence again as they try not to let their passionate fans down.

The Japanese also definitely has better talent that will play in this live online streaming TV World Cup 2010 qualifying between Oman and Japan as more of their players have gone to European clubs, some of them quite famous, and gained invaluable experience playing in big leagues and tournaments. One of them would be Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura who has continued to shine at both club and international level. The difference between Nakamura and his predecessors like Nakata is that he is more hardworking and humble, and with the many trophies he has won with Celtic, that maturity is displayed on the field as he leads his teammates to more success in the region. With a bit more flair and finishing prowess, the Japanese could also beat their rivals in this live streaming TV and radio Asian World Cup qualifying match between Oman and Japan and might actually be able to start booking their tickets for the next round this early.

Many fans cannot wait for this game Brazil vs Venezuela live in this friendly match as the fantastic Brazilian national team is coming to town and waiting to put on a football fiesta for their fans all over the world. For neutral fans, all they want to see are the Brazilian players making dribbles, shots, body feints and pretty moves that normally can only take place in soccer dreams and not in live friendlies like this that is telecast on TV and broadcast commentary on radio. They do not care much for the result because nobody expects Brazil to lose at all, especially not against teams like Venezuela. If they do lose in this live commentary friendly match soccer match between Brazil and Venezuela, unless it was a competitive match, nobody would actually mind.

The most important thing for the Brazilian team in this live online streaming TV friendly between Brazil and Venezuela would actually be to entertain their fans with crazy goals and displays of individual skills that only their players know. There might be Cristiano Ronaldo dominating Europe as the best player in the world, but Brazilian players are so many and with that kind of skill that they are just begging to be discovered and given the right professional guidance would easily outshine Ronaldo. But we know that Brazilian soccer is also mired in debt and little money so for that to happen is unlikely. If a little known player gets his chance in this live streaming TV and radio friendly match between Brazil and Venezuela who knows perhaps he might be seen by a European scout in the stadium and we might get our next Pele or Zico.

Get ready for Uzbekistan vs Singapore live in the World Cup 2010 qualifiers tomorrow on their own home ground of Pakhtahor and Uzbekistan will expect nothing less than a victory and going through to the next stage of the Asian World Cup qualifiers. They quickly demolished Singapore in their own ground and this time with this live commentary World Cup 2010 qualifying game between Uzbekistan and Singapore in the home team’s own ground, the result should be a foregone conclusion even before it has started. Singapore fans will also not be expecting anything more than another defeat but will be hoping their team can pick themselves up from a tough defeat. They fought hard and played well in bits and pieces but overall were easily outclassed by a well oiled Uzbekistan machine.

Singapore coach Avramovic might decide to put out a defensive team in this live online radio and TV telecast Asian World Cup qualifying match between Uzbekistan and Singapore to avoid another terrible defeat and seven goal hiding. But he should also believe in his players and if they can be more compact yet produce the same attacking style they showed on Monday, who knows, perhaps they would be able to pull off an amazing upset of the leading team.

There will not be any surprises from the East Asians in this live online streaming TV and radio broadcast World Cup 2010 qualifier match between Uzbekistan and Singapore as there is no need to change anything. They were awesome when they played at the National Stadium and perhaps only complacency allowed Singapore to score three goals before they quickly distanced themselves again before the end of the first half and squeezed the life out of the locals. The goals scored in that live online match on TV were also beautiful and really made the match extremely enjoyable for many fans, whether their team was getting a lesson in football or not.

There will be a live telecast of the international friendly between Euro 2008 finalist Netherlands and another European team Denmark tonight and it will be an interesting match to determine the Dutch’s strength of their lineup before the tournament starts. Be sure to keep a ear during the live commentary when the commentators start talking about the individual talent in the Netherlands team, with the likes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Robin Van Persie and Wesley Sneider hoping to make their mark on the biggest European football tournament in terms of scale and importance. While the bright orange jerseys of the Netherlands team suits their famous attacking game, there will be eyes on one of the brightest Dutch talents to come out of the country in recent years - Huuntelaar, who could very well be a contender for top scorer in the competition if he gets into gear.

While there might be a lot of interest in catching this game streaming online between Netherlands and Denmark, there will be just as much viewers who will catch it on TV when it is shown in their countries. Holland have a lot of fans all over the world, especially from the time Johan Cryuff brought the concept of total football to the world. It was a revolutionary at that time and till this day, it is rarely replicated at both club and international levels. It is a big contributing reason as to why so many football fans are eager to catch Netherlands games live on TV, radio and online in order to savor the delightful football they dish out in most matches. The football can sometimes be poetry in motion.

Netherlands vs Denmark live today will certainly be a game to watch and not to be missed if you are a football fan. One wonders how much of a resistance Denmark will put up, as they do not have anything at stake in this game. The Danes will not be involved in Euro 2008 after failing to qualify, and most of the European based players will also be in a holiday mood. Whether they will feature and help their team in this live broadcast game between Netherlands and Denmark will only be known around kick off time.

Now this is some crazy news coming out of Denver City as a man named Jeff Peckman, in his attempts to get voters to help set up a commission that will welcome space visitors to Earth, has pledged to show a video recording on Friday that will show proof that we humans are not alone in the Universe and that there is indeed life in outer space. On Thursday with city officials to review his ballot proposal, Jeff Peckman insists that he has authentic footage of aliens that visited the White House and even looked through the windows surveying the rooms.

While describing four foot tall aliens with grey skin, Jeff Peckman believes deeply that the Government has long since hidden the fact about alien lifeforms from the public and he wants to make a difference. While he need 4,000 signatures to effect the ballot, Jeff Peckman nevertheless said that there is growing momentum from the public all over the world to recognize this true phenomenon. In radio and telephone programs he has done in various countries, Peckman has received strong support from call in listeners who claimed to have personally encountered aliens.

Jeff Peckman himself has not had his own close encounter of the strange kind, but that will not stop him in his attempts to spread the gospel of the existence of alien lifeforms in the universe. For his sake, it is hoped that none of his material is sensationalized or they will simply fall on the wayside and quickly be consigned to the bin by the public as pure rubbish. For the moment at least, there is great anticipation for said video that will be released on Friday. Can Jeff Peckman finally lift the lid on one of mankind’s greatest mysteries?

Today is the anniversary of the first successful Mount Everest ascent attempted by man, and it was a New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay who achieved the amazing feat that a few others have been able to follow since then. If not for the two, perhaps it might have been some more time before anyone could believe in themselves to scale the summit of what is considered the highest mountain known to mankind.

It would also be a little known fact with the current generation that today is actually the anniversary of the first Mount Everest ascent. It was 55 years ago when this was achieved, and with Google putting special logo on its home page to commemorate the event, hopefully it will bring more awareness to the younger generation who are more likely to be unmoved by the significance of something such as climbing a mountain. It is a feat of strength both physically and mentally, and one which anyone who has done it should be proud of and deserve to be celebrated for.

Coincidentally, a British explorer who has been trying to perform his own Mount Everest ascent has unfortunately failed in his bid. A few days ago, after exhaustion brought about in part by his heart problems and vertigo, Sir Ranulph Fiennes had to abandon his climb and simultaneous charity bid after trying to negotiate what was known as the “death zone” of Mount Everest. Three years ago, Sir Ranulph suffered a heart attack in his first attempt to scale the lofty heights of Mount Everest, and it was such a sad situation that he would meet with a similar result this time, although we can thank the heavens that he has not suffered another attack, but just exhaustion.

It was also an incredibly brave thing to do by Sir Ranulph Fiennes with his attempts at a Mount Everest ascent. If you did not notice, the gentleman has heart problems and also vertigo, which is a fear of heights. For someone like him to go up there and at an age like that, he definitely deserves to be applauded for his efforts. Once again, nobody ever said a Mount Everest ascent was easy, just trying it is commendable and definitely something to be proud of.

Hours ago, Comcast customers and users discovered that Comcast was hacked. Both the main website and several email accounts were affected. There is a sentiment amongst many in the cyberspace community that with this hacking, Comcast probably got what it asked for. It has been the target of much criticism and abuse since it supposedly started spying on its clientèle and also with its throttling policies. While some of these were done to protect itself, there was enough misinformation disseminated by the giant ISP when questioned about their activities, thereby angering many customers. Many of those who found their actions deplorable would probably have broken a smile when they hear that Comcast has been hacked.

The attack has so far been attributed to a group KRYOGENIKS EBK and DEFIANT, forgive me if I got that wrong for I am not sure what their full group name is. News of Comcast getting hacked started when customers went to their website and saw a message that said “KRYOGENIKS EBK and DEFIANT RoXed COMCAST” on the home page and nothing else. Right now, the declaration has been taken off and has been replaced with a parked page under Network Solutions, presumably with Comcast staff busy trying to repair the damage after being hacked.

There has been further news that perhaps Comcast email has also been hacked and many user account and passwords are being collected due to the hackers changing the settings of the DNS, supposedly. If this turns out to be true, there will be a lot of angry customers that Comcast has to deal with and major repair work. With email down, Comcast users will also find their work or activity crippled if they over rely on it. Really bad news for Comcast as a result of being a target of hackers. But sometimes there is no smoke without fire.

Many are now offering their opinions on why Comcast has been hacked. Much of it points to the ISP trying to position themselves as Internet police and secretly restricting their users’ online activities. They have also toyed with the bandwidth provided to users and many of them are not getting the kind of service they signed up for. However, with Comcast being one of the bigger ISPs around, it has been difficult for customers in certain areas to find alternatives. It might now bring some inconvenience to them, but it might not be surprising if these users are now finding it poetic justice that Comcast has been hacked.

It has been confirmed that the Kim Jong Il assassination reports are false and that the North Korean leader is still alive and well, according to a Unification Ministry spokesman. The initial rumour shook the Asian world and stock markets across Asia suffered some negative reactions when the rumour was first reported on an online South Korean new site that might now suffer some penalties as a result. However, with the moves by the South Korean government to deny that Kim Jong Il assassination attempts were not true and the leader was actually still enjoying his reign in North Korean, it should help settle some nerves which had caused a slight ripple in the Asian financial markets.

Just imagine if it was indeed true that a Kim Jong Il assassination had taken place. The North Korean leader (sometimes spelled as Kim Jung Il as proper Korean romanisation) has presided with an iron fist over the communist country, with his father before him also in the same position. If you were to visit the country, you would have to bow to huge statues of both Kim Jong Il and his father as a mark of respect. There have even been songs created to portray Kim Jong Il as legends and his father as a heavenly bird that descended to save the country. If Kim Jong Il had indeed been assassinated, it would have been picked up by more than just one unknown South Korean online new site. More global media giants would have jumped on it fast and the news would spread like wildfire.

And with the recent disasters that have fallen on Asian countries like Myanmar and China, despite not being everyone’s favourite country or person, a Kim Jong Il assassination would be another blow to the stability of the region. There is not much information as to how the regime will continue in the event of the North Korean leader meeting an end to his time, and it is not helped by the amount of secrecy that the country is shrouded in. But it is without a doubt that countries like China still have close ties with them and if chaos were ever to descend upon the country as a result of something as unfortunate as an assassination on Kim Jong Il, it might have further repercussions on the situation between them and South Korea as well.

Branded as both a “mad scientist” and “wizard” mashed into one brilliant culinary master, Top Chef enjoyed Rick Tramonto’s appearance and stint as one of the judges tonight as he opened up his restaurant to the remaining participants on the show. Tramonto’s restaurant happened to be packed to the brim for the night and it really got on the competitors’ nerves as they were supposed to come up with each of their own special menus. At the end of the episode, Spike and Lisa made the bottom two and after offending and getting on Tramonto’s nerves during judging, Spike was eliminated from Top Chef.

There was not much coming from the guest judge as the owner of the famous Tramonto’s Steak and Seafood restaurant kept most of the comments to himself. When he offered some clearly logical criticism on the participants’ efforts, in the end he got some quite insulting advice from Spike. The latter had trouble coming up with a good dish after choosing unwanted scallop the other competitors left aside. When told by Tramonto that he should have left the scallops aside, Spike shocked everyone by rebutting that with his background and experience, Rick Tramonto should not even have had the scallops in the freezer. Wow!

Now if I wanted to win a competition like Top Chef and had one of the most famous steak and seafood restaurant chefs around as the guest judge (like Rick Tramonto clearly was), I would never have had criticised him or her no matter how pissed I was with the contest ingredients supplied. Earlier on in the show, Spike had shown off how good he was at making steaks, and even won that particular challenge of making a good steak. But hours later he was shooting himself in the foot when he could not back up his good steak dish and cooked up a storm, literally. Adding another cyclone over it by criticising a famous chef like Rick Tramonto was akin to eliminating himself. Perhaps Spike was not interested in hanging around much longer and becoming someone as good as Rick or opening restaurants as famous as Rick Tramonto’s Steak and Seafood.
